Lighting is Art

It's not jewelry, but it is design. Recently, I have been in the process of decorating me and my sister's room.  One of my favorite things in designing and decorating has always been lighting. I believe it's the most important thing in a room.  I was rummaging through our attic yesterday and found these Chinese lanterns hidden away.  I immediately knew I wanted them in our room.  I hung them from sheer white ribbon and attached them to the ceiling with push pins.  I love the ambiance they bring.  I really do believe that lighting is art.
